Este campamento de verano de lectura se enfoca en aumentar las habilidades de decodificación, fonética y ortografía de su hijo. Evaluaré a su hijo y desarrollaré lecciones utilizando estrategias basadas en investigaciones y luego concentraré las sesiones de verano en mejorar estas habilidades.

This is a reading summer camp that can meet up to 3 times a week that focuses on increasing your child's decoding, phonics, & spelling skills. I recommend meeting 2-3 times a week to increase reading skills. During the first session, I will assess your child and develop lessons using research based strategies and then focus the summer sessions on improving on these skills. Frecuencia: disponible bajo peticiónDetalles: I will administer an assessment during our first session. This will assess the needs the student has with letter sound/identification, phonological awareness, decoding, and spelling. This will give me a good starting point which skills need to be worked on. Informal assessments will be given throughout the course. I will assess all skills worked on at the end of the course. The assessment results will be shared with the parents to inform them of the child’s progress and what skills they need to work on.
This class is designed to help students with reading disabilities. The instruction provided has research based practices designed for reading disabilities.
