1-2 horas por semana. Each week, students will be assigned homework. They will ask to read and record the passage we worked on in class and finish the writing assignment we started in class. Students will be asked to keep a journal/diary 5 days a week as well. The journal will not be read/graded on content, but simply be a completion grade.Evaluación
Students will be graded on all homework. (Grades below are per week. Optional assignments may be assigned). Recording: 10 points (Completion grade) (20%) Writing: 25 points (50%) Journal: 10 points (Completion grade) (20%) Participation: 5 points (10%) Journal entries are a completion grade. The recording is about 90% completion grade. If there are serious pronunciation issues, I will address them with students. Writing is sometimes a completion grade. Other times, students will be given a rubric for how their work will be assessed. Participation includes attendance and participating in class.Calificación

*This course is designed for students who have previously learned some French. Each week, we will read a passage (2-3 paragraphs) in French, discuss it, and answer questions based on what we read. We will also write in French, and students will be asked to keep a journal in French. **TIMES FOR CLASSES MAY CHANGE DUE TO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE CLASS MEETING TIMES TO ENSURE THEY WORK WITH YOUR SCHEDULE! Each week, students will be asked to keep a journal/diary. Day 2: Writing: Write a short play of 2 people meeting for the first time after a long time. I grew up in New Brunswick, the only Billingual province in Canada. I also studied French for several years, and continue to study and improve. I also have taught French both online and in the classroom. The course I have developed has been highly successful in helping students develop the ability to have a conversation in French!
