Evaluación de lectura | Sesión privada con comunicación con los padres

Within this one-time session, a full assessment will be given to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your child's reading. We will do a phonemic awareness assessment, a phonics assessment, and a fluency assessment. If extra time, a high-frequency word assessment can also be administered.

This one-time session will give you, the parent/guardian a better idea of where your reader is in correlation with their age or grade level. In addition, this assessment will also give you the knowledge of your reader's strengths and weaknesses within their reading skills.

After the assessment, I will use the last 5 minutes to discuss general findings with the parent(s), if the parent is present. Following the assessment, you will receive a typed informational sheet stating your child's assessment findings, strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations for improvement. 

If you are concerned about a specific area of reading, I am more than willing to alter your child's assessment and focus on a specific area.
