This course will be split up into several different sub categories based on the area of pork production we are focusing in on. Areas of pork production include farrowing, weaning, herd health management and so much more. During the course you will learn: - how to farrow a sow - sleeve a sow or pull a pig - herd health management - how to wean pigs - signs of illness in your barn - and so much more The course is structured with a variety of videos (taken right in our barn) being given to you to watch at your leisure. PDF's and printables are also included in the course for you to print and use. Our live session times will serve as an opportunity to ask questions and discuss any materials you have watched. We may also watch more in depth lessons that are specific to processes in the barn that require more explanation. There will be time allowed for discussion of your individual herd so that you can discuss and see where everyone is at on their livestock journey. As well as share suggestions and support.
