The topics taught will be about the group of reptiles known as Pterosauromorphs and how they gave rise to the earliest Pterosaurs, as well as a look at early Pterosaur groups. The topics covered will be as follows: 1) Branching from the Ornithodiran family 2) Lagerpetids 3) Eopterosaurs 4) Ground to tree hypothesis 5) Extension of the finger to form a wing 6) Gliding to awkward flight 7) Preondactylians 8) Raeticodactylids 9)Eudimorphodontids The class will be structured along the evolutionary and geological timeline of these Triassic animals I will teach using a mixture of lectures, slides and clips with permission secured from the makers of these artists My teaching style can be described as interactive Learners will get to interact with me primarily through lectures and discussion. No required experience or knowledge needed as this is an introduction to this group of pterosaurs

I studied paleontology at the University of Alberta under paleontologist Philip J. Currie. I have been on fossil digs with paleontologist Paul Sereno and was mentored at the University of Maryland by paleontologist Thomas Holtz. I have also been an educator in the Dinosaur section of the Smithsonian Natural History Museum for 3 years. In regards to Pterosaurs I have been collaborating with pterosaur expert Mark Witton.
