We will do some beginning theory: Students will learn note names and lengths; students and will learn and tap/sing simple rhythms; students will sing intervals and recognize intervals. We will sing something appropriate for the individual student. Perhaps nursery rhymes and favorite popular songs from movies! Perhaps classical songs. We can also take known melodies and use creative improvisation to make up our own lyrics! If you have a piano, we can learn to play! I can adapt these classes easily with each student to make sure that they are learning and having fun!

I use the Prodigies program for part of the lesson with my younger students. I will share the screen- students do not need an account. You can look at Prodigies at https://play.prodigies.com/ .
We will do some beginning theory: Students will learn note names and lengths; students and will learn to read music. Younger students will tap/sing simple rhythms; students will sing intervals and learn to recognize intervals. Older students will practice sight singing. Most students like to learn solfege (do re mi, etc).
We will work on singing something appropriate for the individual student. Perhaps nursery rhymes and favorite popular songs from movies! Perhaps classical songs. We can also take known melodies and use creative improvisation to make up our own lyrics!
If you have a piano, we can learn to play!
I will make recommendations for further study.

Fuentes
We may use Prodigies for some sight reading and music theory. It will be as a screen share, so students cannot interact with it.
We may use Youtube for accompaniment or to hear a piece of music.
We will likely use a variety of music books that I have in my library.
