Please note that learners will NOT be using their personal Minecraft accounts or gamer tags. Learners will receive log in information to a Minecraft: Education Edition account for free before the start of class. In Minecraft: Education Edition, users will only be able to see other learners in our private world and only their first name will be visible. For sessions on skin and texture pack creation, learners will use Nova Skin to create Minecraft resources. These skin and texture packs will be compatible with Minecraft Education, Java, and Bedrock editions.

For private sessions in Minecraft Education (coding, creative, or survival), learners will need a device to play Minecraft: Education Edition. Minecraft: Education Edition is available for PC, Mac, and most tablets. Please make sure to download Minecraft: Education Edition prior to the start of class.

For skin and texture pack creation, learners will need a computer.

Learners will also need a license to a Minecraft: Education Edition account which will be provided by Mr. Matt prior to class.
