In our first class together, I will assess the learner's English level and we will have a meet & greet. I will assess several aspects of the learner's English abilities, such as: listening skills, conversational abilities and phonemic awareness skills / reading skills. We will sing songs, play games and complete learning activities that I will use to gather information about your child's learning style & interests. I will use this information to develop meaningful lessons for the future. Near the end of the first lesson, parents have an opportunity to ask questions and provide further information about goals, expectations and availability. If you enjoy the class, we can continue with more one-time classes, or set up an on-going class that is suitable for your child's needs and interests.

1. Students will learn and practice basic conversation skills such as greetings and answering questions.
2. Students will learn and practice new vocabulary words and use them in sentences.
3. Students will practice phonics in order to improve their pronunciation.

Hi there, my name is Mr. Bob, I am honored that you are considering my help for your child on their learning journey. I am offering classes on a variety of subjects in English and French. I am a certified Teacher in Canada, and I have been teaching for over 15 years.
I have experience teaching children from preschool all the way up to High School. Some of the subjects that I have taught are: French as a Second Language, French Immersion, English as a Second Language, Phonics, Reading, Writing, Math, Science, History, Geography, and Physical Education. I have over 3 years experience teaching Online ESL, and I taught the 2020-2021 school year online as a Grade 2 teacher.
I believe that in order for learning to be maximized, the material should be relevant to the learner. The learning activities in class will help learners explore new concepts, develop skills, and enjoy their time. The content and activities will be developed specifically for your child and based on their needs and interests. In short, I believe that classes should be positive, relevant, and fun.
