The class will begin with an introduction from the teacher and the student will have a chance to answer a question of the day or have time to share with the teacher before beginning class. 

Each class will be a time to engage in multi sensory, fun and engaging lessons designed to fit the learner's needs, interests and goals. We will begin each class with a short conversation skills practice session which will continue into the focus of our lesson for that day. The class will end with a review and a wrap up of what we have learned that day. We will have the opportunity for homework to be assigned should parents or guardians choose this option.

Projects, presentations, and scavenger hunts will be used to prepare for classroom expectations and presentations. Students of all ages will be given developmentally appropriate activities to help them understand how to use the English they have learned in academic, travel and workplace situations. Even 2-3 year old students are able to participate in these activities at their level of ability to ensure they are ready for anything their English speaking experiences will bring them.

Lesson plans will be more specific once I meet with the student to pre assess to see where they are on their learning journey so I can plan accordingly. We will use many resources provided by the teacher for our lessons. There are times when some activities will require art materials. This varies and depends on the ability of the student. If this arises, families will be notified ahead of time to allow for time needed to gather materials and prepare.
