*Course content has been recently EDITED/MODIFIED to be more beginner friendly, since it is very hard to learn dance through a screen.* In this introductory/beginner level ballet course, Snow White will help you master balance and grace as you come to understand the way your body moves, and best of all, will introduce you to the MAGIC and JOY of ballet and dance! Come dressed in dance-appropriate attire (if you have tights and a leotard, even better!) and get ready to have fun with the fairest of them all! Please ensure that you have adequate room to move, and a chair or table, etc. to use for balance. Students will learn a simple ballet-based dance incorporating these moves: Jumping Swaying Stretching Plié Passé Arabesque Bourrée Turn Looking forward to dancing with you! Because I want the children to believe that they are interacting with the real Snow White, I encourage parents to be present off camera during the class to help the student to avoid saying things that might ruin the magic for other students.

Students will need dance-appropriate attire (something tight is preferred. Leotard or tight t-shirt, leggings, tights, etc. will do). Students can dance in socks, jazz shoes, ballet slippers, or bare feet! Whichever they prefer.

Hi! My nickname is Sunshine because I love to make people smile and laugh! I grew up performing and have been teaching the performing arts to children and youth for over 6 years. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2019 with a degree in Theatre Arts Studies (Directing emphasis) and a minor in World Dance. My university is world famous for its foreign language department and World Dance program! While at school I studied both Japanese and Korean languages and lived in foreign language immersion housing for over two years. Back to performing arts, I have over 10 years of vocal training and have sung with the Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre company.
