Dawn (she/her) is an energetic and nurturing preschool leader! With a rich tapestry of experiences spanning over two decades, Dawn brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom.

For over four years, Dawn was an integral part of the daycare community, where she honed her skills in early childhood education. Her time in daycare not only equipped her with essential pedagogical techniques but also instilled in her a deep understanding of the unique needs and boundless potential of young learners.

In addition to her professional experience, Dawn has been actively involved in her own children’s education.  For seven fulfilling years she served as a devoted room mom before embarking on the adventure of homeschooling. As a homeschool mom for five years, she curated enriching educational experiences tailored to her children's individual learning styles, fostering a love for learning that continues to blossom.

In addition to her homeschooling endeavors, Dawn served as a co-op assistant teacher, collaborating with fellow educators and parents to create a vibrant learning community. Her collaborative spirit and dedication to fostering inclusive environments have left an indelible mark on the educational landscape.

One of Dawn’s greatest joys is leading circle time, where she weaves together stories, songs, and interactive activities to spark curiosity and ignite imaginations. Her love for the arts, crafts, hiking, music, and reading infuses every aspect of her teaching, creating dynamic and engaging learning experiences that captivate young minds.
