In this fast paced class, I will give learners a letter sound and they race around the house looking for an object that starts with that sound to share with the class. We start with introductions and a quick overview of what a beginning sounds is, the we're off! Kids will have 1 minute to find anything in the house that has the specified beginning sound. Then we will take a few minutes to share each object. If someone grabs something that does not match the sound, we simply discuss what sound it does make and try again the next round! Learners should know their letters and sounds already as we will focus on as many sounds as possible from A-Z. We will not be keeping score or seeing who "wins".
