Description
Circle Time is a great way for kids to learn all the building blocks they'll need to be ready for kindergarten. Join any time!

Class Structure
Each 25-minute class begins with a welcome song to bring everyone together. 
Then we move on to show-and-tell, a time in which each student has the limelight for a minute. For example, one day they will show an item that starts with the letter of the week, another day they can show us something that is the shape of the week, and they have regular opportunities to lead the class in counting up to the number of the week while doing an action of their choice.  
Next we talk about the calendar and chart the weather. All students have the opportunity to tell us about the weather where they're located.
Then we play a game to help us learn letter names and sounds. 
After phonics we do a brief stretch/ wiggle song to settle down for story time.
Class ends with an interactive goodbye song. 

Teaching Style
I have taught children for over 10 years, and I understand their limited attention spans. That's why it's important to me that my classes are genuinely engaging and interactive. I incorporate silly songs, actions, and games that help kids learn without realizing it. My students look forward to our classes.

1. Kids don't need to be in a classroom all day to learn. 
2. Children learn best through play and when motivated by their natural curiosity.
