Sesiones de trabajo de preálgebra: matemáticas en porciones pequeñas

This is a weekly ongoing class that meets twice a week for 25 minutes each.  Each week (not lesson) we will study a new Pre-Algebra topic.  This is a great class for those preparing for Pre-Algebra or a refresher course for those entering Algebra 1.  Sessions will not build upon each other but do require a knowledge of middle school math concepts.  This class is a smaller version of my Weekly Pre-Algebra Working Sessions. The material will be broken down into smaller chunks and there will be less students.

Class will cover important vocabulary for the week's topic.  Once we have an understanding of the concepts, we will do a lesson and practice problems.  I will teach the concept and give examples.  Students will then have the opportunity to practice the problems on their own. I will do the work on the whiteboard and students will work on their paper.  Students will answer questions out loud or through the chat feature.  This is not a fast paced class, and students should feel free to ask questions if they are not understanding concepts or ask for more challenging questions

I will be available through the classroom if students have questions after class.
