Repaso de preálgebra con un profesor de matemáticas certificado

In this 10-week class, I will walk students through a review of Pre-Algebra material. This material will include: expressions, equations, inequalities, exponents/radicals, angles, area/circumference, volume/surface area, rates/proportions and fractions. I will demonstrate the steps needed to solve the problem and have the students watch. Then the students will work through several problems with me and be encouraged to talk me through solving the problems. After this, students will be able to do our last few problems of the class on their own using the steps we've practiced. 

As students get stuck or held up on a problem, we will use it as a time to encourage them and help them figure out the next step to solve.  

After each class, work will be provided for the student. The student isn't required to complete the worksheet but is highly encouraged as it helps bring confidence and gain understanding of the topics covered from class. 

The tentative schedule for the course is as follows: 
- Class One (June 13): Expressions/Equations
- Class Two (June  20): Inequalities
- Class Three (June 27): Exponents/Radicals
- Class Four (July 11): Angles
- Class Five (July 18): Area/Circumference
- Class Six (July 25): Volume/Surface Area
- Class Seven (August 1 ): Rates/Proportions
- Class Eight (August 8 ): Fractions
- Class Nine (August 15): Review of all material
