Calling all Pokemon lovers!! Do you love Pokemon? Do you want to improve your multiplication skills? This is the class for YOU!

Students will be practicing the basic concepts of multiplication with problems involving Pokemon. This will involve instructional videos where the learning target is discussed, and students will be given multiple examples of the topic for that particular class. The topics covered will be multiplication strategies for 0-10 and various properties, like the communative, and distributive. Students will not only have fun with these Pokemon questions, they will also understand and work on conceptual multiplication. This class will be structured on Nearpod where there will be an instructional video made by the teacher, then an independent practice question. Learners will be able to interact with each other on collaboration boards where they can share ideas. The only required experiend or knowledge needed is for students to understand addition and subtraction. Students will be interacting with the teacher by using the draw it feature to show their thinking about these multiplication problems. Students will be interacting with each other by posting on collaboration boards to share their thoughts about what they have learned. Students will also be contributing to polls to show understanding.
