Each week in our ongoing class, we will listen to and/or read the weekly style of poetry. (some styles will potentially go for 2 or 3 weeks.) After hearing some great examples we will all be allotted time to create our own masterpieces to present in front of the class! Students are definitely welcome to join any and hopefully every week and for weeks where we may cover the same style over a longer period of time, it is recommended that you attend for all of the sessions if possible for continuity. Below is a list of styles that we will cover for the next several weeks. The list will continuously be updated so you know what we will be covering and choose classes that most interest you. Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Dontae aka “The Forensics Guy” has been involved in Speech and Debate for over a decade. Beginning in 2005 when his English teacher Ms. Gonzalez invited him to join the Speech and Debate team, he began to see an activity that would change his life forever. As a student he worked as team captain, Helped coach middle school students and win state awards in the activity. This dedication has translated to various local and national successes.
