In "Play With Your Food: Halloween Edition", students will engage in an interactive, food-inspired, Halloween-themed guided playtime with prompts for discussions and hands-on activities. This is a multidisciplinary course emphasizing English language skills and culinary skills. Students will learn through a combination of teacher-led activities and peer discussions. Through the use of a live video meeting (including hands-on activities) and lively conversations, students will have the opportunity to purposefully play with their food. Class time will be structured in the following way: 1) greetings & introductions 2) teacher-directed prompts for playing with our food; all prompts will be Halloween-themed 3) student sharing of foodie creations 4) reflections & goodbyes Throughout the course of this class, students will have the opportunity to play with their food, based on seasonal, Halloween-themes, while also learning how to organize and speak about their thoughts.
