This class is a class for students that have finished Level 3B Piano. This monthly class can be taken repeatedly until the student has finished their Level 4 Piano Book. Students will also be routinely assigned classical literature challenge pieces that are matched to their level by teacher assessment. Week 1Lesson 1Chord Inversions- C and AmLearning C major and A minor in root position, first inversion, and second inversion.Week 2Lesson 2Duple Meter and Tenuto MarkingsLearning about different types of duple meters. We will also talk about tenuto markings and techniques for playing them on the piano.Week 3Lesson 3Chord Inversions - G and EmLearning G major and E minor in root position, first inversion, and second inversion.Week 4Lesson 4Motive and SequencesLearning about motives and sequences in music, as well as being able to analyze them throughout a piece.
