Would you like an individualized attention in developing Russian Language Skills? Do you need help in a particular area? Do you just need to practice talking with a Russian Native Speaker? Would you like to learn how to read? How to write? 

This class is here for you! 

Please, reach out before signing up for a class! I will hear you out and determine what you need as a learner and develop individualized lessons to help you achieve your goals. 

I am accepting requests and reviewing them on case by case basis to determine how I may best help you in learning and/or acquiring more Russian! I am here whether you need more of an academic help: understanding and learning grammar, writing an essay or help with a school project. I am also a huge fan of natural language acquisition, so if you need a challenge and someone who won't say a word in English - this is also something we can work out. 

Example of topics we might cover if you are just starting to learn Russian:
- Phrases to get you started speaking about yourself;
- Brief introduction to decoding Cyrillic alphabet and reading words;
- New vocabulary and decoding one grammar rule for nouns;
- Learning to talk about your family and describing your family members. 


An example of a tutoring session may be:
- Warm-up and review;
- Introduction of a new topic and practice;
- Gamified practice of the new topic;
- A short "exit ticket" activity and follow-up questions.

Меня зовут Miss Tanya and I am a native Russian speaker. 

I teach Russian language Courses for English speakers: 1 set of Courses for learners 8-13 years old, and another set of Courses for teenagers 13-18 years old. Learners can start from absolute 0 and progress through the Course series to higher-Intermediate and Advanced Levels. 

I also teach additional Russian language classes and help students in private classes. 

My lessons with Outschool learners tend to be very structured and each activity has its purpose. Though I consider myself to be a calm individual, I receive a lot of feedback from parents and learners that my lessons are fun and engaging. It brings me joy seeing learners progress and learn something new. 

I have a vast teaching background working in daycare, public schools, private school, church, winter and summer camps, and with in-home tutoring students. I worked with children as young as 1 year old and as old as 17! 
I have earned two years towards BA in Elementary Education from Moscow State Pedagogical University (МПГУ), in Russia. Then I moved from Russia and finished my education in the United States. I hold an AA in Elementary Education (Community College of Aurora, CO) and a BA in Education with Emphasis on Elementary Math (MSU Denver, CO). I have worked at Denver Public Schools for 3 years. And now I teach on Outschool. 

I love reading books, learning new languages (I am primarily learning Spanish and German), playing musical instruments (cello is my favorite), and making delicious vegetarian meals for my family.
