This course has been successful for 2 decades in different formats. 1. We take on a real-life experience (an actual activity) to demonstrate the tension of 'personal choices' to set a baseline for discussion. 2. We walk through relevant examples of YES, NO, MAYBE, WAIT! choices, and other real-life behaviors carefully. 3. - Students will understand the difference between a negative and positive 'choice' in real life Students will discuss how relationships can be hurt today when we do not think about tomorrow. Students will practice/experience choosing short term gratification and therefore long term pain (expediency). Students will practice/experience choosing long term gratification and therefore short term pain (patience). Students will apply methods to personal situations, for personal gain
I have over 3000 Outschool graduates with a 5 STAR rating. I have been teaching life skills for 2 decades in over 40 countries around the world. My goal is not just as motivation and inspiration, but for application.

Please understand that almost 80% of the students that will attend this class are "told to participate" by their parents. I have had a lot of success in winning the kids over in the first session to stay engaged in both sessions. I would ask for your grace in the "transformation" period of becoming responsible... this course has proven data and parent feedback that it can work BUT it is not a magic pill.
