Esta clase ENERGÉTICAMENTE positiva se reúne 2 veces por semana, durante 45 minutos, y enseña a los estudiantes a identificar y expresar atributos positivos dentro de sí mismos y de los demás de una manera MUY creativa.

This is not another class but an experience to build positive self-awareness in an ENTHUSIASTIC & ENCOURAGING way! It will not only be fun, but secretly the students will be instilled with positive insight that will indeed change the way they view themselves and others. My HIGH POSITIVE ENERGY is sure to get them paying attention, engaging, and enjoying themselves. - They will individually answer topic related questions, - Participate in games - Work in teams, and - Encourage one another. The students will be required be active and engage with another student in a group room for some of the team actvities. I will use poster boards with positive adjectives on them as reference

Passion, experience, education, and understanding has indeed led me right here to assist you and your child/ren.
30 yrs ago I realized I have a gift of patience and attentiveness towards children, so I began learning about them and teaching.
My favorite thing to teach them is how to express themselves effectively; through writing and verbal communication.
Resume:
1996-98 SRJC obtained my Child Development certification where I learned about Child Psychology, positive discipline and worked w/ toddlers and preschoolers, observing/writing papers on their behavior and assisted teaching.
1998-00 I taught school-aged children at a popular center (6-12 yrs)
2001-2006 Teacher/Teacher aide/Counselor for schools and summer camps (6-16 yrs)
2007-2009 I obtained my B.A. in Communications
2012-2018 Teacher/Teacher aide for Sunday School (5 -12 yrs)
During this time, I continued to study child behavior and began implementing Psychological techniques into my teaching, obtaining GREAT results!
08-2015 - I obtained my PCIT (parent/child interaction therapy) certification
2018 I created ConfidenceSpeaks - a program that instills empowerment into children by unconsciously pointing out their positive attributes, and increasing self-esteem, self-worth, and confidence
04/2019 State of California accepted Confidence Speaks as a continued education course for Administrators who work with children, in group home settings.
07/2020 I obtained my Child counseling certificate
08/2020 I obtained by Cognitive Behavior Therapy certification
