This is a weekly output-focused LIVE class for Japanese language learners to become comfortable communication using microphones and typing based on topics from ACTFL(Novice High-Intermediate Low), CEFR(A1-A2), and GCSE (Foundation Tier). Everyone MUST participate by either typing or using microphone to respond.

Students will have a set of vocabulary and grammar to focus mastering each week by using Quizlet. Weekly lesson consists of a review of the vocabulary and grammar, reading model dialogue for everyone to make their own dialogues by typing, or by performing/reading using microphone. There will be a weekly input asked of the students to make in between lessons.

Students will go through the following routine below in the course of four weeks.

Learn the vocabulary on Quizlet.
Use the vocabulary to make responses for the weekly topic on an web-based collaborative board.

I will be answering any questions students may have on grammar and expression in class page in Japanese and English during class.

Students are encouraged to use either a printed dictionary or an online dictionary to add new words to make his/her own sentences/input.

Wk1 // At a cafeteria
Wk2 // What do you like to eat?
Wk3 // Describing Food
Wk4 // What do you eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

***This is a LIVE course for all Japanese learners. Using Duolingo so far but don't know how to put all those words into sentences? This will be great! If you have another Outschool sensei you're learning from, great! This is an output focused course for anyone who is learning Japanese.

Certified teacher for Japanese (EC-12), Mandarin(EC-12) and Art(EC-12). I grew up speaking Japanese, Mandarin and Taiwanese, so I have no problem mixing them up to meet your need. Many years of freelance tutoring experience for Japanese and Mandarin have helped me teaching all levels of Japanese including Pre-AP and AP classes at my former employment at a public high school. I am also experienced in curriculum building for 4 years of Japanese language education based on ACTFL proficiency standards as a former school teacher. As I teach more and more students from all over the world, I have become more familiar with CEFR rating as well as GCSE tiers.
