This 25-minute class gathers weekly to allow students to learn from me: a real-life, enthusiastic and excited, animal scientist! After working in a zoo and in the veterinary industry the past 20 years, I'm excited to share what I've learned. Slides are shared from my screen during class to provide real visuals for students. Some photos are of me out in the field!

Kaitlyn Krotchko
No high risk topics or sensitive information. I have a degree in Animal Science from the North Carolina State University where I minored in Agriculture Business Management and Equine Physiology with a focus on Anatomy and Physiology. After multiple biology courses and zoology, I studied research throughout my college career and worked for many veterinarians over the course of 10 years, including an exotic veterinarian that travels the world. From volunteering with the Carnivore Preservation to passionate world-wide travels to Great Britain and Ireland studying the animal spaces, I am encouraged and excited to teach children about animals too!
