In this private tutoring session I will support your learner with specific math skills that they are struggling with. As a former classroom teacher, I know that many students need individual support that is sometimes lost in a classroom of 30. I have a passion for teaching math and helping students to have that "ah ha" moment! I love planning lessons that are specific to each learner. At enrollment, I will ask what specific skills your learner needs more support with. You can even send me a picture of the work/types of problems that your learner is needing help with. Then I will prepare my lessons according to your learner's needs. I will make the instruction interactive and if at all possible, hands on. This individual and specialized session will give your learner instruction and time to practice each skill. During my lessons, I focus a lot on giving specific and positive reinforcement. I want your child to come out of my class with confidence and maybe even a new found love for math!
