Club de inglés como segundo idioma en curso: ¡aprenda inglés y diviértase! Clases grupales interesantes para principiantes

In this ongoing class, students will be practice their English skills through games, songs and fun activities. Lessons will be conducted via Zoom and interactive, Powerpoint style classes will be used. Lots of colorful images, songs and props will be utilized to make the lessons (not only) informative but fun. Each week we will have a different topic and target vocabulary. 

To illustrate, an example of a class may be: "Action Verbs". Students would learn what a verb is and the sentence pattern "I can" vs. "I can't". A variety of games and songs would be offered to help students strengthen their pronunciation/speaking abilities.

 Animals in the Wild 
At the Aquarium- Learn about Sea Animals 
At the Farm 

Teaching Method: 
I use the TPR method (total physical response) to teach my students. By doing so, I use lots of props and hand motions to help students understand vocabulary that they may not be familiar with.

Expertise:  
I have lots of experience teaching international students (Chinese, Russian etc.) and have been doing so for the past seven years. The companies I have worked for include: Qkids and Bilingval. I also hold a 120 hour TESOL certification. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE FOR LEARNER:
Learners will be expected to be beginners at English. The level should be A1, meaning they are English beginners. Learner should know some vocabulary and topics such as: colors, some animals, fruits etc. During class, students will be prompted to speak in full sentences. Students will be encouraged to speak to the teacher and engage with other students. If learners are not ready to speak in full sentences, a pre A1 course may be more appropriate.
