I will cover the material that you, as the parent, request. You will have the autonomy to tell me what skills are being worked on in class that your child needs additional support on. I will also need a needs assessment at our first meeting to determine if we need to fill in skill gaps. I will work with them one-on-one using different research based practices to help your child with their skills. I try to be sure that I always work in positive feedback and we celebrate little wins! We will play games as well as focus on skills at hand. I try to make learning fun and I try to make sure that we're always learning! 

I can teach a variety of topics including, but not limited to, addition strategies, subtraction strategies, multiplication strategies, division strategies, word problem analysis, fact fluency, place value skills, fractions, area and perimeter, and many more.
