En esta clase, se les presentarán a los estudiantes imágenes atractivas para estimular el debate e inspirar ideas para la escritura creativa. Los estudiantes usarán sus habilidades de pensamiento crítico y utilizarán las imágenes como estímulos para escribir.

In this one-time class, students will use their imagination and practice their creative writing skills. Students will be presented with thought-provoking pictures (age- appropriate) to stimulate their imagination and gain inspiration for writing. As a class, we will engage in conversation and brainstorm story ideas by viewing the pictures. The pictures will require students to think outside of the box and which will stimulate their minds and promote creativity for writing. Students will need to think critically and use their imagination in order to develop ideas for writing using the pictures provided. Students will then choose one picture as their focus for their story and will write a story individually. Once completed, students will share their writing with the class. Students will be guided through the writing process and will be given the opportunity to orally share before and after writing.
