In this class, we will use nursery rhymes to complete fun learning activities that are geared toward preschoolers/kindergarteners. Each class will focus on a different nursery rhyme. As time allows, we will complete a couple activities that go along with the nursery rhyme for that class. Activities will be math, phonics, arts, or movement related. Any required materials will be listed prior to the class they’re needed for. As an example of how this class is structured: *Recite “Jack and Jill” *Activity 1: Create your own crown with uploaded template *Activity 2: Look around your house for things that begin with “J” like Jack and Jill *Activity 3: pretend to carry a bucket of water. What will you do with it? This is an ongoing class, so students need no prior knowledge and can attend as many or as few classes as desired.

Hello! Welcome to Outschool! My name is Teacher Cassandra. I teach Language, Preschool, crafts, Math, and story times. I am a certified teacher with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I also am certified in Foundational and Advanced TESOL. I was a teacher in a school for 8 years and I have been a teacher on-line for 3 years. I also homeschool. I love to teach and I love making learning fun for my students! I especially enjoy teaching topics that students have expressed an interest in. I try to incorporate hands-on learning as much as possible through a student-centered approach. My goal in my classes is to have my students play an active role in their learning. I have been married to my husband for 11 years. We have a 7-year-old daughter, a 3-year-old daughter, a 1-year-old son, a dog, and a rabbit! I love to teach! I also enjoy doing crafts, baking, and reading. I also enjoy fun with family and friends. I look forward to seeing you in my classroom!Reseñas
