The premise of this book is that a young boy is flying in a small plane that crashes and leaves him stranded in the wilderness. The first few chapters deal with the plane crash and it does go into detail about the death of the pilot from a heart attack and the crash itself. Other themes of survival and desperation throughout the book may be difficult for sensitive readers, including the main character grappling with thoughts of suicide.
