Note taking is a skill that I find is no longer taught in actual school, but is a necessary tool to be successful in education. This is a 1/2 hour class where I will focus on the following:
-what materials you need for note taking
-how you should be organizing your note taking
-actually writing notes vs taking notes on a computer/laptop/table: the pros and cons of both ways of note taking
-why effective note taking will increase your chances of being successful with your schooling
-why note taking becomes even more important as you enter high school, and then college

Note-in this class I am giving an overview of note taking/highlighting-the importance of it, and how it will make you stronger as a student. I give examples of highlighting, and two forms of note taking. However we do not practice actual note taking.
