In this class, students will work through a packet both independently and together as a class. We will be unscrambling letters, following clues, and playing with words. Some familiarity with Minecraft is helpful, but not needed. I will help and guide students through the process so that we ultimately move at the same pace, and comfortably for all. In addition to the word play, we will be decorating and designing Minecraft items with a Christmas theme. Students will have the opportunity to share their designs with the class if they choose. Students are welcome to participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable and are not required to share their creations. The packet is packed with Minecraft Christmas decorating activities as well as various engaging word games. We will not finish the entire packet during class so the fun can keep going when class ends. Students will be encouraged to continue working after class and share in the classroom. We will be working from the packet I provide and we will not be playing inside the Minecraft game. Therefore, no gamertags will be shared and no device is needed for the class.
