In this one time class students will learn about Mustang Horses. We will start the class with a power point presentation about where wild horses live in North America, how many exist in the wild and why they are rounded up and adopted out. After our presentation students will learn how to decipher a mustang brand. Students will decipher a minimum of one brand during class. After we do our brand deciphering students will get to see pictures and videos of my personal mustang horse. I will tell them briefly about her and during the brand deciphering they will also discover where she used to live in the wild. It is recommended that students bring a pen(cil) and paper to class to help them while deciphering the brand(s)

Hello. I teach a lot of classes about animals and I also teach some reading classes. All of my animal classes are taught about animals that I own.
I love to educate people about animals, animal abuse and neglect. Almost all of my animals come to me as rescues. I like to teach others how to properly care for animals so that the animals can live a long and happy life. Research isn't always reliable as you get different answers in different books and it can be hard to figure out what's best. I am always open to questions. If you are interested in getting a certain pet, just want to learn about different pets or have a pet and want to verify the care is correct, I welcome everyone. I have also trained service dogs and I currently own a trained service dog.
I have taught local classes about the needs of turtles and tortoises, and also community education Sign language classes.
I am a homeschool parent. I have been homeschooling for over 15 years. In our homeschool adventure we use a lot of books and research for learning. We do not use textbooks.
I also have 3 years of college completed. I studied teaching with an emphasis on special education.
