Music and singing aid the children's sensory development and can help to create more pathways between the cells in their brains. Music, especially learning and singing songs, improves literacy and numeracy by helping the students to recognize sound patterns and to learn by repetition. This helps helps them to anticipate what is coming next in a song and they know how to put this patterns in a sequence. Music lifts the children's spirits and gets them into the right mood for learning and exploration. They strengthen their memory and practice self-expression. The children are finding their voices!

I love to sing and play the guitar. I studied classical guitar for almost a decade (Johann-Jospeh-Fux conservatory, Graz, Austria).
One of my favorite activities is to use music and song to encourage my students to express themselves. It's been my experience that music lifts the children's spirits and gets them in the right mood for learning and exploring. 

Through obtaining my Associated Degree in Early Childhood Education (which differs from the US standards and contains thoroughly musical education) I am certified to teach music and movement classes to children ages 0-6 and beyond.

I teach life music classes to children in preschools and daycares in the central NJ area.
