This camp will allow for flexibility and offer live teacher/student interaction.  This is a seven-day class with activities, assignments, videos, and discussion posted daily on the school page.  In addition, there will be two 15 minute live classes to play games while practicing our multiplication facts.  

An example of a schedule would be:
Day 1- What is multiplication? 15 minute live class
Day 2- practice 0,1,2,5,10 
Day 3- practice 3,4
Day 4- practice 8,9,11
Day 5 - practice 6,7 
Day 6 - review 1-11 multiples,begin 12 multiples
Day 7- review 1-12 multiples, and 15 minute live class 

We will:
1. Start with the easiest and work our way up!
2. Drill! Drill! Drill!
3. Repeat without Defeat!
4. Learn some cool tricks!
5. See the relationship between addition and multiplication! 
6. Sing and Dance?  Maybe?  :)
7. Be introduced to the multiplicative identity and zero properties!

Students will be evaluated by participation and accuracy.
Thinking about my own experience in education, I appreciate the incredible impact that teachers have on the lives of young people. I know that teachers provide skills and knowledge used by young people throughout life. Therefore, as a teacher, my greatest aim is to be a role model. I want to cultivate open minds, the knowledge and ability to look at the world critically, and students belief in their own capacity to make positive contributions to society.
