In this class, I will read a story called "Mr. Nosey".  He is an animated character who likes to know everyone else's business in the neighborhood!  Mr. Nosey learns an important lesson!  I will teach reading skills such as character traits, how the character changes in the story, plot, theme, and sequencing!  My class will be structured by students participating in story time with me.  We will read and discuss the events of the story together.  After reading, I will share google slides with the topics and activities related to the book.  This will include points for discussion, higher level thinking questions, and reading activities. Students will have the opportunity to complete reading activities such as a graphic organizer on Mr. Nosey's character.  If time permits, students will make a flip book of the events that happen in the beginning, middle, and end of the story ( the plot). This was one of my favorite books to read as a child.  I hope your child will love it too!  

My teaching style is energetic and interactive.  I encourage students to actively participate, share ideas, be creative, and have fun!

Learners will be able to interact with others through discussions, sharing ideas about the story, and google slide activities.
I will provide links to the printable character activities, but they are not necessary to complete the class.
