=== Monster Mandarin's Your Favorite Things is an ongoing class where the topics you want will be taught

=== Each week one of our beloved Mandarin teachers from Monster Mandarin will provide the following:

  1. The teacher will ask the kids what their favorite things are; if kids provide an answer (trains, chocolate, ponies, animals, princesses, etc), then the teacher will provide a fun and interactive way to learn phrases and words related to their favorite things

2. If kids have no topics they want to discuss, the teacher will provide a useful topic where the kids and teacher can converse in an interactive way that will be fun and impactful

3. If kids want to practice speaking, the teacher will engage in conversation with the kids and include other kids who may not be as advanced by reviewing and repeating the words + phrases + sentences being sure to be inclusive of all kids

The goal of each class is to provide an immersion experience for kids who may not have the opportunity to live with a native Mandarin speaker in their household. All kids should have opportunities to learn a foreign language even if their parents cannot speak Mandarin.

This is a low pressure, ask-anything “corner”. This is not like other offerings. This 25 minute window is similar to a professor’s “Office Hours” where a student can come and get help with whatever Chinese language needs they have in whatever form is best suited for them.
