Learners will understand how these events of the last 200+ years have shaped our society today as we know it, and continue to influence our unfolding future. 

Learners will find out how to critically evaluate the political movements and theories, and the scientific discoveries, from both a histographic standpoint and a contemporary understanding, of the last two centuries.
