In this book, Thanksgiving is only one day away. Can Turkey find a place to hide from the farmer, who is looking for a plump bird for his family Thanksgiving feast? Maybe Turkey can hide with the pigs...or the ducks...or the horses? Uh-oh! Here comes the farmer! Run, Turkey, Run! Your child will laugh at this silly book as Turkey tries his best to not be Thanksgiving dinner. And yes, (spoiler alert for parents), Turkey escapes and is not dinner.

I am a certified teacher who has taught two years of 4th grade, two years of 3rd grade and I've been a preschool teacher for 14 years. Two of my most favorite parts of being a preschool teacher have been storytime and guided drawing lessons with my three and four year olds. I enjoy bringing my students into each story by asking questions, using different voices and sound effects. I want to show my students how fun and exciting reading can be. At preschool ages of 3 to 6 years old, their creativity is so sweet and every picture they draw will not look exactly like mine, but drawing is such a stepping stone to other things. Through guided drawing, students will learn colors, following directions, creativity, and appreciation of art through crayons. I am a kid at heart who loves to laugh and collect vintage Fisher Price sets, toys and Fisher Price Little People. Reseñas
