Send pictures of your beautiful mini gingerbread houses to your friends and family!Experiencia de clase
In this 20 minute class, students will have the opportunity to experiment with holiday-themed architecture and physics, to figure out how to best build their gingerbread houses. Your child will learn about basic fractions (half, thirds, and quarters) and experiment with the law of gravity, but they'll just think that they're making mini gingerbread houses! While following the instructor's guide, students will have the opportunity to ask any questions that they have, as well as interact with other students. My teaching style is very relaxed and welcoming. Please note: All transfers to another time must be done at least 24 hours before. Please ensure that the class time(s) works with your schedule.

Lista de útiles escolares
To be able to make the mini gingerbread houses, you will need: 8 Graham crackers (this includes some extras, in case one breaks) 1 cup of white icing/frosting (homemade or store bought) 1 piping bag or ziplock (with the tip of one corner snipped off) Candies to decorate the house with (candy canes, gum drops, dots, etc. You can use any small candy, whatever your child would enjoy decorating with.) *If you have time and feel comfortable with it, I recommend taking your child to the bulk food store and having them choose out their own candies.

I'm Meghan McGregor, the founder, program director, and one of the dedicated teachers at World Montessori Academy. Our academy is a place where education is fueled by passion and expertise. Each of our Montessori classes is taught by certified, trained AMS, AMI or MACTE Montessori educators who bring up to 20 years of experience and a deep love for teaching. We believe that education is more than just imparting knowledge—it's about nurturing a lifelong love of learning.
Our extra-curricular classes are no different. Whether it's art, music, science, or another subject, these sessions are led by educators who are truly passionate about their fields. This passion translates into engaging, dynamic classes that captivate and inspire our students.
At World Montessori Academy, we emphasize interactive, hands-on learning experiences. We know that not everyone has access to Montessori materials at home, and that's perfectly fine! We provide printable versions of all the materials used in our classes, ensuring that every student can fully participate and benefit from our programs.
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to support your child's educational journey and can't wait to see them thrive in our classes. If you have any questions or need additional information, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We're here to assist you every step of the way.
