Experiencia de clase

Everybody loves talking about Minecraft! In this one-time class students will have the opportunity to meet other Minecraft lovers and share tips and tricks with one another in a low-stress environment. Class rules will be reviewed at the beginning of class to ensure order in the classroom and to make sure that each student has an equal opportunity to share. To keep the conversation going, I will introduce various topics for the students to talk about. Each student will have many opportunities to speak. This class is a great opportunity for students to learn polite conversation and public speaking skills. It is also ideal for both shyer students as well as more outgoing students as they will be talking about a topic that they all love, Minecraft! Please note: We will NOT be playing Minecraft during class, just talking about Minecraft using the knowledge the student already has about the game.
Metas de aprendizaje
By participating in class, students will improve on their conversation and public speaking skills.

Welcome to my classroom! 📚 I'm Ms. Lindsay, and I'm so grateful you are here! I have been teaching writing exclusively on Outschool since June 2020. Along with being an ACE Educator, I've been recognized as a Popular teacher and Star Educator, teaching over 5200 students on the platform. I have a passion for creative writing and ELA, and I love working with kids. In addition, I love teaching and learning.

I have experience working in many educational settings. I earned an associate's degree in early childhood education and a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I also have a TESOL certification. I'm also constantly sharpening my teaching and writing skills by participating in various professional development opportunities. While in college, I worked as an instructional assistant in the public school system. After completing my student teaching, I worked as a classroom teacher. In 2017, I left the brick-and-mortar setting and began teaching ESL online. Shortly afterward, I found Outschool, and what an amazing journey this has been!

I believe children learn when they are engaged and having fun. For that reason, one of my classroom rules is to have fun! I strive to give my students a supportive, engaging, and laid-back environment where they are free to be creative and do their best work. I promise that you won't find a more encouraging and supportive teacher.

Thank you so much for your interest in my classes and for visiting my page today! If you have any questions for me, send me a message. I sincerely hope to see your learner in the classroom.

Warm Wishes,
Ms. Lindsay 💕
