In this ongoing course, we will be meeting once a week. During our weekly class we will be learning about a different type of weather each class. It is important to learn the job of a meteorologist and gain an understanding of how they detect the weather. We will be discussing the chosen weather pattern for each class and the science behind it (in a developmentally appropriate approach). Students will come out of this course with a great foundation of the science behind weather, and why weather is important. This is a perfect course for children who are fascinated with weather types. 

All classes will be based off of a presentation. Classes are all discussion based and end with an open ended art activity.

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool. I would be honored to have your child in my classroom so that we can enjoy the wonders of learning together. See you soon!
