In this ongoing small group class, students will develop and strengthen their third grade math skills by engaging in fun activities such as math games, puzzles and artistic activities. We will practice addition, subtraction and multiplication by playing math bingo, working with math squares, puzzles such as sudokus and magic squares, and through drawings and story problems. 

An example of the sequence of this ongoing class is as follows:
First meeting: Story problems, math dice game, math bingo and magic squares
Second meeting: Story problems, math dice game followed by how to sudoku and written practice
Third meeting: Math bingo followed by artistic project/drawing: Math Stars: Finding patterns in the numbers
