In this 1 hour talk, students will be shown all the ways Mathematics make video games possible.

This includes exploring math through the lens of business plan writing, geometry, programming and more, and is meant to help students connect the math they're already learning in school with real-world examples they'd appreciate. The presentation itself was built inside a game creation tool (Sony's LittleBigPlanet 3) to make the experience more engaging.

Our classes are loosely structured, and student participation is encouraged. We leave ample room at the end for both Questions and Answers as well as a mini-talk on personal branding in the digital age and why professionalism, dignity and respect are so important.

No previous knowledge is required, as our presentations are designed with multiple levels of knowledge in mind.
Metas de aprendizaje
Our main goal for this talk is to demystify math for students. One of the easiest ways to grasp math is to understand different real-world uses for it, so our presentation is designed to show students how everything from business math to geometry and more tie into the games they play for fun. Seeing such real world examples can make math a lot more approachable for them, and also enable them see how their favorite games were made possible through math.

We make games, and also teach people about the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math), Careers and Community Impact behind game design and entrepreneurship.
