Millionaire Mountains is a custom made interactive math game for learners within the beginner to intermediate levels of basic math. This game is (usually) great for 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders who are practicing or reviewing their multiplication and division math concepts. Learners will be mentally engaged as they hike through many challenging mountains, solve problems and count their money. You will be challenged along the way and must use a bit of strategy and budgeting in this game. We'll find out who can maintain the highest score on the leader board and get to that million dollars worth of gold coins, first! All children need to learn foundational math concepts, but let's face it . . . they'd rather be playing games with their friends. Well, in ALL of my math game classes, I encourage them to do both! If your learner enjoys this class, go checkout my Mastering Math: Virtual Gaming Club and join us weekly as we practice math and play endless games with friends. 🙂 https://outschool.com/classes/mastering-math-virtual-gaming-club-beginner-multiplication-division-fQOTxkG6 <<< DISCLAIMER >>> This math game is not designed to teach multiplication and division. Students should already be somewhat familiar with each of the math concepts mentioned. This activity is only intended for practicing and mastering multiplication and division further. Participants may not utilize charts, answer keys, cheat sheets, calculators or be given the answers by anyone else (including parents). That would not be fair to the other learners who are competing in the game. The only thing that they may have for this class is pencil and paper. ❗❗ 👑 IMPORTANT: KPE POLICIES 👑 ❗❗ Please click the following link to read our policies regarding: (1) Class Minimum Policy (2) Tardiness Policy (3) Camera Policy (4) Class Recording Policy (5) Makeup Class Policy (6) Transfer Policy (7) Refund Policy https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-muzsZCpFdu4u_I4MSb_yYypftxpDDSmfsMd8x9eZIs/edit?usp=sharing

Orientación para padres
This math game is a highly interactive and very competitive activity. The learners will have a chance to compete against each other (or the instructor) as they play. Not all students will win. Learners should be able to exhibit good sportsmanship regardless if they win or lose.
In this club the materials will be presented to the learners via an interactive Canva or Google slideshow presentation (shared on the teacher's device, only). No external links will be clicked. No additional websites will be visited. No additional logins are necessary for the learners.
Lista de útiles escolares
Sometimes enrolled learners choose to have scratch paper on side of them to help think through the process. Writing isn't necessary for solving all of the challenges; however, having a couple sheets of scratch paper can be helpful for visualizing and jotting down notes.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
My expertise as a home educator and private school teacher have afforded me 10+ years teaching math concepts to students of all ages. Throughout those years I have developed many ways to make math mastery attainable for learners within the different levels. My favorite way to teach is through gaming. I have experience teaching students (preschool-college) both virtually and in person. I also have experience teaching both academic and enrichment subjects.
