This is is an interactive personalized class for high school students currently taking Biology and/or Chemistry. 

Topics that can be covered under Chemistry include but are not limited to: matter, periodic table of elements, atoms and molecules, gases, compounds, chemical bonding, lewis structures, electrochemistry, chemical reactions, balancing equations, stoichiometry, solutions, acids and bases, oxidation numbers, and much more!

Topics that can be covered under Biology include but are not limited to: living things, plant biology, photosynthesis, human anatomy, cell biology, meiosis and mitosis, genetics, DNA structure and function, ecology, and much more!

Each session will be based on the topic the learner brings to the class that day through their in-class notes, slides and/or assignments. 

The initial class will typically also involve understanding learner's style or how a student learns best, such as whether they are visual or active learners for example. I can then adjust my teaching methods accordingly to ensure better results.

Each session starts by first assessing where the learner is at with the subject allowing us to determine what is most important to focus on. Understanding what a person knows and doesn't know, makes it easier to build a more solid foundation for them to learn and retain what they have learned. Priority will be given to the concepts that the learner finds most challenging.
