This class is designed to give learners a chance to meet other learners and discuss magic the gathering. Each week we will begin the class by having a discussion about new strategies, new cards and any other mtg related news. These topics will be driven by the learners as they will be given questions about new cards and ruling that are released. The goal of this class is to inspire learners with new ideas and different ways to play their favorite game. After discussion we will break into groups using zoom breakout rooms and play. I will do my best to match each learner up by skill level to ensure that games are as fair as possible. And of course I will be around to handle any ruling issues that arise. For this class learners will need a deck built in the commander format. Since we are playing on zoom the learners will also need a camera that can view the desk space in front of them. They will be playing their cards the same way they would in person. Minimum field of view needed is 20in x 10in which is roughly the size of a playmat.
