In this class we will begin with an alphabet song.  Next we will utilize letter cards to learn or review the letter names and sounds for each letter. Students will learn that some letters have more than one sound, while other letters almost always make the same sound.  Learners will create new neural pathways by combining movement with pictures and sounds to help them create a strong foundation for reading. 

We will finish up by learning the vowels.  Learners will gain insight to which letters are vowels, why they are vowels and what the two primary sounds are assosicated with each vowel.  

At the very end of class students will get to play an initial sound matching game.  Come join us for some educational fun!
