Take your YouTube channel to the next level in our class as we cover the best techniques and strategies to grow a successful YouTube channel with active subscribers, growing video view counts, and ever-watched content. Join Mrs. Kristen (former assistant from YouTube's The React Channel), as we discuss the steps to take on your YouTube Journey.

This class meets 2x per week and will cover video creation, upload schedules, thumbnails, sponsorships & more. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in weekly discussions in this class. Learners are welcome to join the class at any time.

⫸ Weekly Topics:

Week 1:
YouTube Introductions / Goals As A Creator, and Choosing A Channel Niche

Week 2:
Banners, Tabs, Profile Set Up, & About Me Section. Learners will learn how to design their own channel graphics and profile set up.

Week 3:
Channel Growth & Strategy. This week, we will be covering ways to organically grow your following, keeping consistent, and leading your community.

Week 4:
How to make your channel stand out. We will discuss end screens, watermark graphics, shorts, SEO, video research, and creator Q+A.

*Students should have established an existing channel before enrolling in this course - we will not be covering the technical set up of a YouTube channel. Students are not required to have existing videos on their channels before enrolling.

Hello and Welcome! My name is Kristen I am a performer, voice over actor, teacher, and videographer. I have the honor of being awarded the Music & Arts: Teacher Of The Year Award.

As a performer, I have traveled the world performing as a lead singer onboard Carnival Cruise Lines. I have worked on seven ships in their fleet and performed several genres of music on stage. I have also worked as an actor in New York City. I have auditioned and traveled around the United States for jobs performing in musicals. My favorite shows are Disney's Mary Poppins (Mary), South Pacific (Nellie), and She Loves Me (Amalia). 

As a teacher, I am currently a music teacher at an academy. I have taught and hosted live and virtual classes in music, theatre, auditioning, and public speaking. My goal is to prepare students for their auditions and performances so they are not as nervous and feel confident in themselves. 

As a videographer, I run a YouTube channel documenting my travels as a teacher and performer. Working online has taught me about video-story-telling, graphics, editing, and proper lighting.

-Cinderella at the Palace Theatre
-Soloist with the Linked Up Concert Series by Carnegie Hall
-Voice Over Commercials (under contract) for 2024-25 ads
