Ask me about my favorite animal when I was younger, and I would talk for hours! Who am I kidding? I still would! 

This class is a space for your learner to do just that! Tell me and your classmates all about your favorite animal! Is your favorite animal a monkey? A dog? Wolf? Rabbit? Lion? Horse? Guinea pig? Tiger? Koala? No matter what your favorite is, come to class and share! What are your favorite things about the animal? What makes you love them? Why are they super cool? I want to hear it all! Every learner will have time to share and interact with each other and me to talk about the animal they love. I will always share facts and knowledge about my favorite animals of the week and ask questions to encourage learner participation. 

If there is extra time or a lower enrollment size, we will play a fun game on a website called Blooket (https://www.blooket.com/play) where students answer animal related quiz questions to progress in the game. No extra device would be needed as students can click the link I send them in chat to play the game and see the questions in another tab. If students are not comfortable with playing a digital game, we can play another version of the quiz solely through zoom.

No other materials are needed; however, I do provide a printable "All About My Favorite Animal" organizer page for students to use to help them organize their thoughts for class!
